ACCEPTANCE SPEECH FOR HON. PATRICK OLE NTUTU ON NOMINATION BY THE UDA PARTY AS THE GUBERNATORIAL FLAG BEARER FOR NAROK COUNTY

Today, we are equally delighted and grateful to see you, all.
Ladies and gentlemen, as you may all know, I recently resigned from the position of Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) in the Ministry of Labour in order to contest for the Narok County Gubernatorial Position.
Under our party, the United Democratic Alliance ( UDA), I have not been the sole contender. I have been running against two of my colleagues, my sister
Hon. Soipan Tuya ,Narok County MP who has served as the Narok County Member of Parliament (Women Rep.) for the last ten years and my brother Hon.Gabriel K. Ole Tongoyo MP Narok West who has served as the Narok West Member of Parliament for the past five years.
I can confidently confirm and acknowledge that we have respectively offered distinguished leadership to the people of Kenya and the County of Narok through this period.
Accordingly, I therefore wish to convey profound humility and deepest gratitude to my two colleagues for having ceded their ambitions for my candidature by consensus.This is a rise to the spirit of nationhood for the greater good of our party UDA, the people of Narok and our great country. Thank you and congratulations for your sacrifice!
We sincerely appreciate our endeared supporters for your patience and commitment through the entire process. It would not have been possible without your blessings and understanding. Asanteni sana!
Ladies and gentlemen, this political development would not have succeeded without the unequivocal support of our party leader,His Excellency, Dr William Samoei Ruto.
I take this opportunity to thank our Party Leader for creating a conducive environment for Us as leaders to deliberate on the best way to partner to move Narok Forward. Your Excellency sir. Ashe Oleng'!!
Ladies and Gentlemen
It is our resolve, together with Hon. Soipan Tuya, Hon. Gabriel Tongoyo, all other polical and community leaders from Narok County and our supporters who ascribe to the UDA aspirations, THAT we shall deliver colossal victory for Our people, Our Party and our Presidential Candidate!
I wish to reaffirm my commitment to team work and unity and urge my colleagues and the people of Narok to have faith in my leadership and we shall deliver this dream!
Last but most importantly, we humbly ask all ambassadors of goodwill of this County for your unequivocal support and to the great people of Narok we count on your vote come Tuesday the 9th of August, 2022.
