With floods menace, Narok leaders should work together

Few days ago, Narok was a no go zone because leaders decided that being an outlaw is leadership. I am here with a portion of advice to narokians. We all have to know that for a safer or deadly Narok its well and within our commitment.

The county government of Narok is just one among the children of devolution which we all not aware of its real fruits of unless we down our heads and get the real facts on good governance and the reflections of those we have elected in various positions. I want to reitarate the arc in which we derive our mandate of questioning the pretext of poor governance. I am a victim of poor or rather indebt approach of solving the amids violence. I am till now a strong believer of the our promulgated constitution which gives equal rights to all person under one nationality of being Kenyans.

We, the People of Narok, should recognize that we have responsibilities as well as rights; that our destinies are bound together; that a freedom which only asks what's in it for me, a freedom without a commitment to others, a freedom without love or charity or duty or patriotism, is unworthy of our founding ideals, and those who died in their defense.

When Narok burns or rather goes to dogs, the questions on reproach is sustained in our eyes as the populace who kept quite when both the quest were raised and when the answers were delivered. Today its with heartfelt humility that the jostling of interest has made us one man down, to this extent the partisan approaches has been left to the timid and those who want to surface the wish of many in accordance with the aspirations of being better than the timely outcomes.

All our knowledge begins with the senses, proceeds then to the understanding, and ends with reason. There is nothing higher than reason. Let's freely reason without the influence of "our"  'my', and 'we'

Narok is our home, to the living governed by both the people we fight for and the dead whom almighty knows their fate. Categorically am a strong crusader of peace to emulate the elegant way of doing right things rather than the illusions of of doing things right.

I stood for fairness all time and my consciousness is upright to the last lane which I rest God to judge. Nontheless, the approach may claim lives more than we raise an alarm to stop the anarchy and the death of our fellow was purely a result of negligence. However the culprits must be brought to book.

The governor of Narok and senator were friends and during their campaigns the used one chopper to transverse the county seeking for unanimous supports from all of Narok residents and their fall out was anonymous to both the supporters and opposers of the county government. Take time and reflect

To supporters,

The integral part of your arguement is not to enhance in counter tactics which will harbour intolerance in our mode of conducts and play. I wish we speak our minds and wish our leaders to values their votes (followers). My humble wish is that both parties have their donts and dos, it is extremely unwelcome to push hard what can be fixed in a entire of unclock knots.

To opposers;

Your instincts should take you back to not regrets but to the calmness you tackle in the shoes of being in a oblivion and that you wish if being in a position you wish and purposely the one you questions in terms of how campaigns were carried on. Let's calm and face some realities above. Consensus and dialogue is not that deadly. "I am reminded that maasaai used to say the hare don't cry for the one that killed her but rather the one who made her seen" Let's see peace and practise harmony.

Narok Success is about dedicationnof its population. You may not be where you want to be or do what you want to do when you're on the journey. But you've got to be willing to have vision and foresight that leads you to an incredible end and It's the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen.

Is Uhuru dumping MAA? was it the reason of arrest? Find why it maybe>>

President Uhuru Kenyatta for the first time has spoken
about his former Interior CS Joseph ole Lenku, describing him
in an emotional meeting as as an "embarrassment" to his
government and the country.

Kenyatta sacked Lenku on December 2 and replaced him with
former Kajiado Central MP Joseph Nkaissery. Both men are
Maasai.

The firing followed a series of terrorist attacks and insecurity
since Lenku took over in 2013, the latest being massacres in
Mandera county by al-Shabaab militia that claimed at least
64 lives.

At the same time, the President accepted the resignation of
Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo, also widely
criticised for security failures.
Kenyatta had some positive words about Kimaiyo when he
departed, but he said nothing about Lenku who had lost the
public's confidence.

The President spoke candidly about Lenku on Monday when
he met a delegation of mostly Maasai leaders from Kajiado at
State House, Nairobi, to discuss the upcoming Kajiado
byelection on March 16 to replace Nkaissery.

Those in attendance included Nkaissery, Jubilee chief Whip
Katoo ole Metito, Kajiado East MP Peris Tobiko, Kajiado
Senator Peter Mositet, Kajiado county Assembly Speaker John
Osoi, Josiah Tarayia Kores, Kenya Meat Commission
Chairman; politician,Solomon Kinyanjui, Kajiado Central
aspirant Patrick Tutui (the Jubilee Alliance Party choice and
several MCAs.

Uhuru, according to sources in the two-hour meeting, told
Jubilee chief whip Katoo ole Metito; “I am very embarrassed
with you. I never knew Joseph ole Lenku, you brought him to
me and he caused embarrassment to the nation.”
The President is reported to have said Lenku failed to perform
and accused Metito of misleading him into hiring a person he
knew was totally unsuited for the job.

Metito, a former Internal Security minister, is reported to have
asked Uhuru to nominate Lenku to the position soon after
elections in 2013. Lenku was nominated in May.
Yesterday neither Metito nor Lenku responded to calls and
text messages seeking comment.

It is said Uhuru summoned the leaders to State House after
they failed to agree on one candidate before the Jubilee
Alliance Party nominated Patrick ole Tutui last week.
The President is also said to have told off Kores, chairman of
the Kenya Meat Commission, for "letting me down".

He was quoted by a source as saying: “You are no better. You
are taking me and the Jubilee Alliance for granted. I gave you
a chopper in the last general election to use in the campaigns
but you also caused the party to lose the Kajiado Central
parliamentary seat and that of governor.

“I told you to step down for Peter Mositet so Mositet could run
for governor's seat so you could go for the senate seat, but
you refused. I am being told you are bragging the Jubilee
coalition is your personal property in Kajiado. I do not
entertain such nonsense anymore, this party does not belong
to you," an angry Kenyatta is said to have told Kores.

The President is said to have taken on Kores after Solomon
Kinyanjui, who also vied for the senate seat and lost in the
last general election, stood up and accused the politician of
high-handedness in running of party affairs in Kajiado.
Kinyanjui told the President that one of the difficulties of
persuading people to join the Jubilee Alliance is people like
Kores and others who are use the party as their personal
property.

Earlier, Nkaissery had declined to attend the meeting until
Purko MCA Samuel Kipaika was removed — the two men do
not get along. After consulting Nkaissery, the President asked
Kipaika to leave. Other MCAS attending the highly charged
meeting included Josiah Toshi, Lesalaon Seki, Joseph
Mutunkei and Ntintinyo ole Sere.

I DELEGATE duties not POWERS, says Kilgoris MP KONCHELLAH

KILGORIS MP Gideon Konchellah has denied leaving the
management of his constituency to his aides.

Issuing Uwezo Fund cheques on Thursday in Kilgoris town,
Konchellah said he is up to date on all activities in his
constituency.

“I heard an individual on a local FM station last week claiming
I had left my seat to my personal assistant, and that the CDF
and Uwezo Fund have been squandered by my aides. This is
not true at all,” Konchellah said.

Konchellah said delegating duties is important to nurture other
people to take over once he has left.

Senator NTUTU petition to Governor Tunai

THE MEMORANDUM TO TUNAI

REPUBLIC OF KENYA
IN THE MATTER OF ARTICLE 37 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF KENYA
AND
IN THE MATTER OF THE NAROK COUNTY GOVERNMENT

Hon Samuel K. Tanui The Governor Narok County Government

County Government Headquarters
NAROK

26th January, 2015

PETITION PREAMBLE
We the residents of Narok County deeply inspired by the
desire to have good governance and accountable leadership
of our beloved County premised upon the rule of law and
constitutionalism
;
RECOGNIZING that good and accountable governance is the
foundation of a just government; deriving its powers and
policy programs from the consent and general consensus of
the people;
AWARE of the tremendous burden borne by the ordinary
residents of Narok County each day to hold this County
together;
BELIEVING in the self manifest truth: - unity in diversity as
the best option for a prosperous society – where the welfare
of each one of us is the concern of all:
DETERMINED to establish social justice and to secure for
ourselves the protection of our culture, heritage and the fruits
of our labour through a transparent and responsible
leadership;
CONVINCED further that the justified course lies in the
increased empowerment of the people to determine their own
destiny;
RECALLING the sacrifices of our forefathers and of our
eminent sons and daughters of our land in fighting for our
freedom and liberty;
DO HEREBY present this petition seeking that the Governor
and the County Government of Narok forthwith address
redress and rectify the following prevailing injustices:-

1. NAROK COUNTY BUDGET FOR THE FINANCIAL YAER
2013/2014
- KSH 7.3 Billion.
Mr. Governor, Narok County Government Budget for
2013/2014 Financial Year Totals to Ksh 7.3 Billion. The ONLY
developments seen as a result of Ksh 7.3B Sent to the
County Government during the Year is:

1. Public money being paid to cowboy contractors for either
none existent or Incomplete Murram roads purely for
individual enrichment.
2. Hired Helicopter for the Governor three days a week
3. Dilapidated or none existent of Health facilities in public
Hospitals especially Narok General Hospital where patients
die on arrival because of lack of basic utilities like oxygen,
pain killers and your Government being driven by greed and
insensitivity continues to burry its head under the sand
.
1) WE demand for unwavering explanation over the
Expenditure of
Ksh 7.3 Billion budgeted by the Narok County in the year
2013/14
.
2) Unambiquas explanation why your Government, failed to
meet its local revenue targets as promised in the budget of
2013/14.
3) Explanation of all capital projects initiated during the last
financial year
to establish the status of all project s and to determine
whether there is equity in the allocation
.
NOTE: We are in the middle of the Financial Year 2014/2015
where over
Ksh 8 Billion was budgeted and yet NO single development
has been successfully completed.

3. SEGREGATION IN THE PAYMENT OF COUNTY FEES
.
There are Seven (8) Balloon Safaris Businesses and
Operators running in and around the Maasai Mara Game
Reserve. All of them except one,
Skyship Balloon Safaris pay landing fees to the County
Government.
Skyship Balloon Safaris is known by all and sundry that it is
own jointly by Mr. Tunai and Others.

4. NON PAYMENT OF PARK FEES BY BUSINESSES
ASSOCIATED WITH MR. TUNAI
Mr. Governor, it is common knowledge that park entry fees of
all the Clients Lodging in Kichwa Tembo Camps is also
received by Oloololo Game Ranch owned by Mr. Tunai .
Assumption of Revenue received by Mr. Tunai between 2004
and 2014.
Camps Accommodation capacity – 100 Beds Minimum
50% Accommodation capacity is taken in assumption
Each client pay $80 a day(assume each person pay one day
though the normal minimum days clients visiting Mara stay
is two days)
Period in Question is ten (10) years
50 x 80 x 30 days x 12months x 10 years = USD 14,400,000
x 91 (dollar rate) = Ksh 1,310,400,000
We need an explanation as to why your private company
does not pay public money (park Entry fees) to the County
Government like all others.
6. NON – REMITTANCE OF REVENUE BY MARA
CONSERVANCY.
Without any shred of doubt, you were one of the founder
members of the Mara Conservancy; and therefore within your
knowledge that in an existing contract between the Mara
Conservancy and the defunct Trans-Mara County, the
revenue so collected from the Mara Triangle is apportioned
as follows;
45% of that Revenue goes to Mara Conservancy, 36% Trans-
Mara County and 19% to Group Ranches.
It’s a fact that the above revenue collected by the
Conservancy purportedly on behalf of the County Government
of Narok has become your private money and that is the
only logical inference that a common man can draw because
how can the Auditor General fail to capture in its reports the
revenue collection from the Mara Conservancy for the last 10
years. The only institution that is exposing the conservancy
is the Controller of budget. Revenue Collected and Remitted
by Mara Conservancy since the County Government took
over is tabulated herein below [A tip of the ice bag].
Revenue collected and remittance between March 2013 –
Dec 2013
55% potion of revenue expected by the County Government
-Ksh 144,514,519
Actual Remittance as per the Report of Controller of Budget
-Ksh 18,431,075
Actual amount Mr. Tunai retained thro Mara Conservancy.
-Ksh 126,083,444
The Mara Conservancy and KAPS are under the total control
of yourself Mr. Tunai. You retain any amount at will to build
your financial empire to the detriment of the Narok Public
and the National institutions have completely insulated your
activities. You deliberately ensured that the County
Government has no mechanisms of ascertaining how much
Mara Conservancy and KAPS Ltd collects and remit to the
County Revenue Account.
We now demand that you give a clear explanation;
1. That discloses all Collection records of the Mara
Conservancy for the Period between March 2013 to
November 2014 to the public.
2. On the Revenue Collection Records from KAPS since the
start of the contract to be availed to the public for scrutiny.

7. KENYA AIRPORTS PARKING SERVICES (KAPS)
This company appears to have been contracted to collect
revenue in the great Maasai Mara Game Reserve because of
its previous association with the Trans -Mara County
Council. It is not in doubt that you were and still is the
principal player, in the collection of revenue at the Mara
Triangle. By contracting KAPS to collect the revenue from the
larger Maasai Mara, you were simply expanding the revenue
collection empire to serve your personal interests. For
avoidance of doubt, we submit that;

a) There was no proper procurement process in compliance
with the Public Procurement and Disposal Act.
b) That a proper and competitive bidding process was not
complied with.
c) There were no technical qualifications, score awards and
financial requirements to establish whether KAPS Ltd has the
capability and integrity consideration to be granted the
tender.
d) That there was no due diligence conducted to eliminate
issues of conflict of interest involving senior officials of the
County Government and your personal association with KAPS
Ltd.

We demand an explanation from you the Governor on the
management and operation of revenue collection services
offered by the Mara Conservancy and KAPS Ltd. Particularly,
a public scrutiny of the transactions, including Electronic
Money Transfers touching on the collection and distribution
of that revenue from the time when the Agreements were
signed.

8. PROCUREMENT OF GOODS AND SERVICES
There are serious concerns that the procurement process in
the County is flawed and deliberately tilted to favour political
cronies, friends, and merchants of corruption and sycophants
who owe loyalty to you and who have no capabilities to
deliver in the awarded tenders. We are particularly disturbed
that;-
1. In the 2013/2014 Financial Year, 12 Land Cruisers were
budgeted for and the said vehicles procured from TOYOTA
Kenya without competitive bidding. But most importantly the
vehicles have NEVER been delivered.
2. That the procurement and trading processes are not
complied with in accordance with Public Procurement and
Disposal Act.
3. The integrity of the process used to procure County
Government vehicles is suspect.
4. Explanation as to the legality of the hire of a helicopter to
ferry the Governor on almost daily basis at the expense of
the County tax payers. Does this represent value for money?

9. MAASAI MARA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND –
FORMERLY 19%
The fund was aimed at benefiting and uplifting the communities living around Maasai Mara Game reserve. This fund is currently being operated as if it was a personal account. Little is known about it because it is locked in great secrecy. It is important that:-
We need an explanation whether the fund is achieving its objectives or being misused.

10. THE MARA CONSERVANCY

There are areas of concern which need clarity in relation to
this conservancy. These Includes:-
Ownership of the company past/present directors.
Signatories to the Mara conservancy accounts.

The contract that awarded it collection of revenue in Mara
triangle and if any law supports this now.
The County Assembly approval of the collection of revenue
by Mara Conservancy and KAPS in Mara triangle and Mara
Game Reserve.

Establishment on whether there is conflict of interest.
The lodges that do not remit part fee to the County.
Thorough audit of the collections done by Mara conservancy
since inception of County Government and how it is remitting
to the County.

STEPS TAKEN BY THE PUBLIC IN PURSUIT OF JUSTICE;
1. Wrote several petttions to the Auditor General for action
2. Wrote several petttions to the Anti- corruption commission
for action
3. Gave His Excellency the president a memorandum raising
our concerns

CONCLUSION
The proper management of public funds and resources are a
cardinal requirement of the Constitution. The governance of
devolved units must meet constitutional requirements and
promote constitutionalism. It must be accountable and
transparent. It must have public participation at all stages.
These standards have not been upheld in Narok County
leading to poor governance, misuse and rampant embezzlement of public funds and resources. The result is wide-spread public dissatisfaction, suspicion and possible confrontation.

We therefore demand that the Governor gives a satisfactory
explanation to the issues raised and must take responsibility
for all misdeeds of his government. The reply of the foregoing
must be within the next 21 days failure to which, we shall be
left with no option but to directly exercise the sovereignty
power of the people as bestowed upo n us by the
Constitution of Kenya forthwith.

Boda Boda Operators to form SACCOs says NTSA

Operators of public service motorcycles must organise
themselves into saccos by June, the government has said.

National Transport and Safety Authority deputy director of road safety Duncan Kibogong yesterday said this consolidation
will make boda bodas easier to manage.

“Right now, they operate in isolation. We don’t have their
records and we cannot even trace them when they break the
law,” Kibogong said.

He was speaking at a a forum on Traffic (Amendment) Bill,
2014, at a city hotel. Kibogong said each sacco should have at least 50 motorcycles.

Every operator should have a sacco name on the front of the
helmets and on any other clearly visible part of the motorbike,
he said.

“The management of every sacco must ensure the riders are
well trained and have all relevant documents, including a valid
license,” Kibogong said. Enhanced digital licenses will soon be issued to qualified drivers by the authority, he said.

The traffic bill seeks to regulate vehicle speed to protect
schoolchildren.

Bill sponsor Laisamis MP Joseph Lekuton said it seeks to
reduce speed limits near schools, hospitals and homes to
30km per hour. The bill also provides for construction of speed bumps and painting zebra crossing marks on roads near schools.

and the acting Inspector General of Police Samuel Arachi
following the arrest of five MPs over the chaos that rocked

Khalwale said the arrest amounted to “intimidation of political
leaders” for leading their constituents to a protest. He asked
the Cabinet Secretary to drop the charges against the leaders.

“The answers that Nkaissery and Arachi should be giving
Kenyans is what went wrong during the demonstrations to an
extent that people died. They were supposed to provide
security to the demonstrators, they cannot turn around and
arrest leaders for their failure to provide security,” said
Khalwale.

OLE TUNAI blames rivals for CHAOS

Narok Governor blames rivals for chaos

Tunai said they were better channels of addressing the  disputes.

"It is between those who believe in the new way of doing things and those who want to maintain the old order of doing things in an impractical way," he added.

The governor said those behind the chaos went ahead with the protest despite the ban by Cabinet Secretary Joseph
Nkaissery.

Tunai vowed to continue serving the county without fear or favour and urged residents to uphold peace as necessary investigations take place.

"I would like to urge residents to remain calm and keep within the law as we find an amicable solution to the present issues," he said.

Narok Governor Samuel Tunai has condemned the violence witnessed in the town Monday and demanded action be taken against the organisers.
Mr Tunai said one person died while six others were admitted at the Narok County Referral Hospital after sustaining serious injuries during the fracas. Two of the injured were later referred to Kenyatta National Hospital for further treatment.

However, Narok County Commissioner Kassim Farah had earlier indicated that two people were killed.

The governor said the injuries were as a result of a mob attacking police officers guarding the county offices.

"It is unfortunate that some leaders would incite peace loving residents to the extent of mis-advising them to engage in criminal acts of attacking police officers who were on duty," the governor said in a statement sent to newsrooms last evening.

He accused a section of county political leaders of being behind the demonstrations that led to the deaths.

Tunai said the scuffle and the resultant injuries were a result of police engaging in self-defence when they were attacked bythe mob.

"I would like to call on law enforcement agencies to expeditiously investigate and bring to justice all those responsible for the violence and lawlessness," the statement read in part.

Tunai said: "I blame my rivals for inciting residents along partisan lines, fashioned along clan divisions on false claims of corruption against my administration."

He added: "While the Constitution guarantees rights and freedoms such as freedom to assemble, picket among others for public good, the same Constitution protects every citizen, and there are relevant laws that protect public officers while exercising their duties."

He said the standoff between leaders in Narok is a contest of greed and clanism against transparency and the new leadership order.

One shot DEAD, 10 injured as Narok demonstration goes SOUR

Narok county residents today took the road to demonstrate against what they term as misappropriation of funds by the county government of Narok.

Peaceful demonstration started amid of tight security after interior security minister cs Joseph ole nkaiserry suspended the picketing event in narok.

The people came out after lapse of presidential request to investigate Narok allegations.

Leading the demonstration Narok senator stephen ole ntutu, emurua Dikirr MP Johanna ngeno, Narok south mp Lemein and Narok west MP patrtick ole ntutu, they told the people to be peaceful and maintain peace.
''Let's be peaceful and lead our main course of addressing our problems in a good way" said ntutu

"The constitution gives us a right to picket and demonstrate and no one will take in from you not even the CS of interior" said ngong.

They thanked national government for providing enough security in narok,.

The demonstrations got sour after police fired teargas and live bullet to the demonstrators.

The police and county rangers sprayed live bullets to the hundreds of demonstrators who were chanting anti county government songs.

The petition was handed over to county Secretary.

Governor Tunai gives Naikarra ward 98M development funds

County Government of narok has given Naikarra ward development funds to a tune of ksh 98million for the construction of roads, schools and health care centers according to  https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=710749092373305&id=389281291186755&refid=7&_ft_=qid.6106334751241768012%3Amf_story_key.3299232508721537952&__tn__=%2As This happened over the weekend when the Governor Hon Samuel Ole Tunai visited the ward. RAILA ODINGA statement regarding Langata Primary land grabbing

I have learnt with extreme shock and shame that pupils of Langa’ta Road Primary School have been injured after police threw tear gas canisters at them and other well-wishers who joined them to protest the grabbing of their school’s playground.

This is brutality beyond words and greed beyond description. It is difficult to believe that police can actually deploy against primary school children and lobby tear gas at them to defend a land grabber.

This image of a nation determined to steal forcefully from its own children cannot be what we aspire to. It cannot be the legacy we want to bequeath the children.

However greedy, acquisitive and heartless we may be, we surely can stand up for the children. After all, they are the people we are guarding the nation for.

I stand with the parents, pupils and teachers of this school over this land. At the very least, I am prepared to give them the benefit of doubt that they own the land. Somebody must be held accountable for this primitive and shameful action.

THE RT. HON. ON RAILA ODINGA, EGH.

Never force your child to Pray

Never Force Your Child to Pray

The neighbors had come over for dinner at Little Johnny's
place. As they sat down for dinner, father asked Little Johnny
to do the prayers.

Johnny replied, "But dad, i am scared." His Dad told him to
just be honest and say what he felt best. So as everyone
joined hands,

Johnny began: "Dear Lord, thank you for bringing the kid who
ate my cookies. Please bless them him with food so that he
doesn't take mine. Also forgive his elder brother who
undressed my sister and started wrestling with her. I am sure
he wont do that again. Speaking of clothes, I want you to
bless all the naked women on my dads phone with clothes.
Seriously, they need it. And lastly, I want you to provide
shelter to the homeless man who sleeps with my mom when
dad goes to work. Thank you." No one had dinner that day.

ITS PUBLIC OUTCRY OVER KILGORIS MP Hon. KONCHELLAH's SILENCE

My (mothers) in kilgoris want the cut to continue because they are not aware of the law, My MP konchellah legislate the laws, Facilitate Youth groups to go civil education on social practices and community enlightenment if Projects are Finished. # KilgorisForward

One day, we might ans must have an honest conversation about the # KilgorisConstituency crisis that emanates from petty region politics and nepotic esteem. Its 21st Century and MP roles are in public domain.

This financial year 14/15 I overheard roadside declaration that Oltanki sec and Osongoroi will receive Sh 2M each, that seem valid as This was said when DP Ruto visited Kilgoris central ward. Can we wait another visit by Ruto to get another donation?, No # LestWeForget , Kilgoris CDF must tell us better & unique way they do with taxpayer money

I am astounded that my immediate Tororek primary school was to be funded by Kilgoris CDF last year May with sh 6M to be a boarding school, Funds not released, Hon Konchellah can we know what we don't know.

Silence to point what is unjust is what made many people millionaires, Kilgoris MP must work for the people, Are we voting robots? Tax payers money should be accounted. All time anywhere including on phone call.

By the way  Mheshimiwa Ngong of Emuru Dikirr is giving out development cheques to schools like every school bana and bursaries like to everyone, l wish to know my Kilgoris MP work, Do they sit in same Parliament? remember, Emurua Dikirr had Sh80M and kilgoris had like Sh100M.

Kilgoris Anti-FGM activist almost Lynched by Sikawa women over the "CUT"

"We want the cut"  was a message send by Kilgoris women, They almost lynched one crusader of anti-FGM whom they argud using the shade of anti-FGM to profit her self. Sikawa women are wrong and right in equal terms, they need to have soughted procedural law to bring down the corrupt activist, They are right that they want culture.

l agree  that Women Should not only be seen but also Be HEARD;  The recent and more during the inception of our constitution our mothers have not come to terms with vigorous calling of stopping FGM. They have held severally demonstration in solidarity of culture, lndeedn they are right not that I support but because they must be listened.

Walter Lippmann in his broad definition said that "Culture is the name for what people are interested in, their thoughts, their models, the books they read and the speeches they hear, their table-talk, gossip, controversies, historical sense and scientific training, the values they appreciate, the quality of life they admire. All communities have a culture. It is the climate of their civilization."

Women going to roads demanding culture are right, we must go down and listen their cry and tell them what law says about their quest, our study of law or rather schooling must not been mistaken of ignorance.

Karl krasus argued " Culture is the tacit agreement to let the means of subsistence disappear behind the purpose of existence. Civilization is the subordination of the latter to the former." FGM is not a good vice, indeed let's go to them and tell them why its a decision of our girls when they attain the age of 18 years.

Why its Amos Saningo Rolex now; Kilgoris Central

My People All around me I see the suffering  and struggle of the common man especially the youths, elderly and the children, on them I see poverty, disease and hunger reaching endemic and unacceptable levels. I tested it, it can be fixed.

I see islands of prosperity amidst a sea of poverty and deprivation. I see brothers who have been favoured by providence
separating themselves from their less fortunate brothers using high fences, barbed wire, mean security guards and exotic dogs.

I see our people struggling to make ends meet as our rich land produces billions fro minerals for a tiny rich elite that operates in the shadows and talks in whispers. I see our people robbed of their dignity and wealth by drought and famine.I see the dehumanizing conditions that make vast swathes of our populace eat wild fruits.I cry at the debilitating hunger that makes a mother slaughter dogs for her family to eat.My heart bleeds as I see a father selling his 12 year old daughter to a 70 year old man so as to restock his herd of cows. We have to fix it.

I see mothers walking long distances to fetch water from muddy pools while the political elite divert water to their vast lush
flower farms.I see the first time mothers giving birth in unhygienic conditions without the attention of a specialist because the hospital is too far and maternity costs are too high.I am pained when thousands of promising young lives are cut short by preventable diseases such as malaria, tuberculosis, typhoid and cholera.I feel the pain of the many and I TESTED IT AND I WANT TO FIX IT.

Many young boys and girls are not able to access education due to prohibitive fees and an archaic social system. The greedy and corrupt leaders glorify and buttress this poverty so that the culture of handouts and ignorance -on which their vicious grip on power- depends is never  broken.I see thousands of boys whose only hope is to become a watchman or a truck driver.I see
scores of girls who only wish to be barmaids and househelps. These careers are their choices due the absence of hope.

Our dreams have been deferred for too long that you are the leader of tommorow.

As I  take on the arms of impunity, corruption and poverty, fellow youths l need your support in this titanic battle that reshape our destiny. It is a battle between slavery and freedom, domination and independence, patronage and partnership and in that I am solidly reminded of Dante Aghileri’s words “The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who in times of Great moral crisis maintain their neutrality”

Like corruption in kenya, Charcoal burning persit, Forest off

In trans mara almost 200 charcoal bags routes to kisii county daily, From time immemorial, Administrative officers know the routes, they do nothing. Its sad that leaders are silent over what can make future generations regrets. Stand up my people
