Kenya's confirmed CORONAVIRUS cases now 4, Health minister says

Kenya Now has four cases of confirmed coronavirus cases. Patient Travelled to London UK on 8th March and arrived in the country on 9th

All who may have come into contact with the patient are on the process of being rounded up for quarantine. According to Health CS, a total of 111 cases have tested. Quarantine is not a request but order and failure to will attract a jail term or fine.

A total of 23 patients released from Mbagathi hospital to self-quarantine at home. “We continue to encourage a cashless society,” said the CS. Kenyans are requested to avoid crowded places while those that work in offices are requested to work and stay at home.

“In order for us not to suffer an economic crisis, we have decided vessels at the Port will continue but be disinfected,” Mutahi Kagwe said in a brief to the nation. “UN diplomats can travel but must follow rules on quarantine… This is not a joke, it is the real thing, and we must be realistic.”

The CS said, “We continue to urge Kenyans to observe maximum hygiene and highlight the seriousness of this virus”

Gov. Tunai ready to Host BBI RALLY in Narok.

Governor Tunai says he is ready to host the BBI rally in Narok on 22nd February, 2020.
Addressing the media shortly after meeting with Raila Odinga with several other Maasai leaders, Gov. Tunai said they have put aside their political difference to see a successful rally in Narok.

"We have held high level consultations on the BBI have today brought together elected leaders and opinion leaders from Narok, Kajiado, Samburu, Laikipia, Baringo and Nakuru counties, and steered by former Prime Minister Hon. Raila Odinga." He said.

He added that they have laid a good foundations on issues to be tabled as Maa "We have analyzed a technical committee report on the views being collected from various stakeholders and hope to have a joint memorandum to present to Kenyans during a mega BBI rally in Narok town on February 22." Said Gov. Tunai

"We are encouraging wide consultations and open-minded public participation." He added.

Our Unity our Strength, Charles Sunkuli tells Emurua Dikirr residents

While addressing mourners at Ololmaasani ward, Emurua dikirr Constituency, PS asked residents to shun divisive politics and unite for prosperity and harnes a good rapport amongst their diversity.

PS Sunkuli led a good number of leaders from the region mourning a prominent leader who died few days ago.

PS Charles⁩ is way ahead on the last two polls, all at 60% ahead of the rest & that's a clear message he is the Narok God-send for the top seat.

Moral Leadership is a key proponent that leads PS Sunkuli. 

Rather than aspiring to being followed, PS Sunkuli aim to serve & Instead of showcasing their own skills, he tend to develop the capacities of others and thus resonate well with the youths across the county.

"We need to work together both young and the old and learn from our mistake so that we can reach an amicable consensus to better our county and find solutions to our problems thus making it easy for policies formulations and implementions" he paused.

We are living through tough times, both socially and economically. The world around us today is rapidly evolving and transforming. We need many more leaders like Charles who will guide us through the maze of change into the world of tomorrow that is better than today. 

Yesterday at Abosi, Ololmaasani ward, Emurua Dikir at the burial of a prominent leader, PS urged residents to preach peace, stay in unity and choose leaders they believe will deliver to them their promises in time.

The DEPUTY President does not go to any place without making prior arrangements; ~Hon David Sankok

While speaking at Citizen TV power breakfast show Hon Sankok refuted claims that Jubilee party is divided inside, He said such narrative is being peddled by people who does not mean good for this country.

Hon Sankok said the relationship between the president and the deputy president is intact the Handshake did not bring discomfort in the jubilee house.

"There is no division in Jubilee. When President Uhuru Kenyatta mentioned Raila Odinga in the address, I believe the NASA co-principals were also being addressed" said Sankok

Hon sankok said that jubilee house is big and ready to accommodate everyone and visitors should come with courtesy.

"We are ready to accommodate everyone in Jubilee, but they should know that we have a roadmap. The only open position for 2022 is that of running mate" he added.

On claims by former president office that the DP visited Moi's Kabarak home unannounced, Hon Sankok said those are sideshows from DP's political rivals and does not qualify to vilify the DP because he is a state man & he could not go anywhere withouts schedules.
