First lady Sara Tunai lays plans to fight Gender based violence

Narok county first lady has laid tremendous plans to eradicate gender based violence in narok county. The case of early marriages, FGM and school drop oou will soon be forgotten vice in narok.

Gender-based violence is a human rights violation, a public health challenge, and a barrier to civic, social, political, and economic participation.

The vice undermines not only the safety, dignity, overall health
status, and human rights of the millions of individuals who experience it, but also the public health, economic stability, and security of nations.

Gender-based violence cuts across ethnicity, race, class, religion, education level, and international borders. An estimated one in three women worldwide has been beaten, coerced into sex, or otherwise abused in her lifetime.

Although statistics on the prevalence of violence vary, the scale is tremendous, the scope is
vast, and the consequences for individuals, families, communities, and countries are devastating.

It is vital to promote the rights of all individuals and reduce gender-based violence while mitigating its harmful effects on individuals and communities.

Unless women, girls, men, and boys fully enjoy their human rights and are free from violence, progress toward development will fall short.

Through the First lady initiative Narok county will partner with Various non-governmental organizations, faith-based organizations, and host government institutions to:
Increase awareness of the scope of the problem and its impact
Improve services for survivors of violence Strengthen prevention efforts.

KETER SET TO IMPEACH ANOTHER CABINET SECRETARY.

Nandi Hills Member of Parliament (MP), Alfred Keter, has vowed to crack the whip on yet another Cabinet Secretary (CS) before January 2016, in his continued fight against corruption.

The vocal MP stated that he was not yet done and had a long list of more Government officials who should leave office for laziness or corruption scandals.

“Before January, I am set to go with another individual. I know that almost 70 per cent of this Cabinet are corrupt. Those who are too lazy should again resign for people who are active,” he said.

He further reiterated the need to have a clean working environment which would allow the country's economy to compete with other nations. Keter's relentless efforts to have Devolution CS Anne Waiguru impeached seemed to have borne fruit, after Waiguru resigned from office on Saturday afternoon citing poor health due to numerous attacks from various quarters.

Waiguru stated that she made the decision following her doctor's advice and had asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to accord her lighter duties which she could cope with.

Keter had previously submitted two motions to the National Assembly to have Waiguru sacked. However, none of the motions saw the light of day as they were dismissed by House Speaker, Justin Muturi for failing to meet required threshold.

Call for Election Kenya is in crisis; Mudavadi tells Uhuru

Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to step aside and call for elections to pave way for capable leaders to stabilise the country.

Mudavadi said the economy was now driven through “habitual management by default” and there is widespread corruption driven by unaccountable officers.

“I am telling the inept government of Kenya: You can fool some people most of the time, but you can’t lie to everybody all the time. The least you can do is admit you don’t know what you’re doing and pave way for those capable,” he said.

The ANC leader made the remarks yesterday when he addressed the Annual General Meeting of Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET), Vihiga branch at Friends College Kaimosi.

The former Deputy Prime Minister said the government was facing a serious disconnect between its fiscal and monetary policies leading to cash flow problems and allowing President Kenyatta to finish his term would be throwing the country into greater confusion.

Mudavadi said the Eurobond saga was an exercise in contempt of public accountability.

“When the economy is tipping; there is a cash crunch and government cannot raise salaries; interest rates and inflation is high; people are losing savings at the stock exchange and cannot repay loans; when the cost of living has sky-rocketed, then something is wrong,” said Mudavadi.

He added, “And when government cannot account for what it did with the Eurobond money, the same government has the audacity and nerve to shamelessly take us for fools.

It then mocks us that all is well; ‘we spent the money to spur the economy, reduce inflation and cost of borrowing; so pay more taxes on juice’.” Mudavadi said he steered the country through the tumultuous 1990s when it had been made a pariah as a result of Goldenberg looting. “I got us moving again from the doldrums through major economic reforms. It is clear the infectious ‘bug’ is biting us all over again. As teachers, parents and Kenyans, you have two choices to make come 2017:

You can choose my team to restore sanity and give Kenyans a decent life because I know what to do or choose an incompetent Jubilee or a decaying CORD,” he said. He said the appetite to consume by the government without investing in production is a major contribution to the failing economy and called for suspension of some development projects. Mudavadi asked teachers to use their numbers to influence major decisions in the country by electing better leaders.

Teachers hold a special place in society. They are not just the income elite and investors that underpin the local economy, but more so the moral fibre and development voice in society. In their hands, the destiny of our country is moulded,” he said.

He said the symbiotic relationship between teachers, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and the government has not worked in the recent past, forcing them to resort to industrial action.

“In this confrontation, matters of quality education have taken a back seat. The government finds it difficult to ask the teacher why education performance is failing without blaming the teacher for what is wrong,” he said.

The ANC leader asked the government to obey the court order and increase teachers pay. “The issue of TSC refusing to remit union dues under the pretext that it’s doing a payroll audit would be laughable if it were not tragic. If TSC isn’t lying, why not pay the dues and deduct any over payment to unions in later remittances?” he posed.

He said Government’s disregard for court orders was brazen autocracy that a democratic country cannot afford.

Mudavadi noted that the education sector was in a shambles, from Early Childhood Development to university, where systems have broken down, yet the government, instead of addressing the meltdown, has chosen the easy road of window dressing.

“Through attempts at damage control, impunity has driven the government to break every law and thrown management of education into disrepute. The result is that education policies are being made on a daily basis at the whim of individuals,” he said.

Mudavadi said the problems in the education sector and the Kenya National Examination Council’s (Knec) denial of exam leakage amounts to a government that is sabotaging human resources development.

“It is destroying a generation, discrediting the legitimacy and credibility of education and its certification among Kenyans and abroad and reducing Kenyans’ competitiveness in accessing employment. Given the massive leakage reported this year, I request Members of Parliament to urgently amend the Knec law to make the council accountable to Kenyans rather than to the Education Cabinet Secretary,” he said.

US REPUBLICAN'S DONALD TRUMP INSULTS AFRICANS AGAIN

United States’ Presidential candidate in the 2016 presidential election, Donald Trump has once again vented his disgust for Africans by referring to them as lazy fools only good at eating, lovemaking and thuggery.

The Business magnate, who is also the republican Presidential torch bearer promised to deport all Kenya origin, Africans including president Barrack Obama as he illuminated how he plans to reconstruct America and restore its lost glory.

Trump spoke bitterly as he said: “African Americans are very lazy. The best they can do is gallivanting around ghettoes, lamenting how they are discriminated. These are the people America doesn’t need. They are the enemies of progress.

Look at African countries like Kenya for instance, those people are stealing from their own government and go to invest the money in foreign countries. From the government to opposition, they only qualify to be used as a case study whenever bad examples are required. How do you trust even those who have ran away to hide here at the United States hiding behind education? I hear they abuse me in their blogs but I don’t care because even the internet they are using is ours and we can decide to switch it off from this side. These are people who import everything including matchsticks.

In my opinion, most of these African countries ought to be recolonized again for another 100 years because they know nothing about leadership and self governance.” “I promise to make America great again by restoring our dignity that we have since lost through Obama. The more reason why I still believe that he, and his Kenyan brothers and sisters should be deported back to Kenya to make America safe.”

DONT USE LAND REFORMS TO ALLIENATE COMMUNITIES FURTHER -LESUUDA

Don’t use land reforms to alienate communities further
By Naisula Lesuuda on October 21, 2015 Comment

BY NAISULA LESUUDA

When Kenyans enacted the new Constitution in 2010, one of the crucial areas that we decided to focus on was land reforms. The key target of land reforms as enshrined in the supreme law is the recognition, protection and registration of community land rights.

It is unfortunate that land reforms have now turned into a political process that fails to respect the aspirations of the people occupying this nation. It is especially disheartening that the proposals that were derived by the taskforce on community land have now been trashed and we are presented with land Bills that do not respect the needs of the people.

In the ongoing debate, we fail to appreciate that the community land holdings system exists in over 65 percent of Kenyan land mass, which is endowed with natural resources that are being discovered for spurring economic growth. However, the communities living in these areas depend on the same community lands for their livelihoods.

Thus, gains of the recognition, protection and registration of community land rights as provided for by the Constitution are yet to be felt. Many communities, and especially pastoralists who rely on such lands, are already suffering as community land continues to be taken away from them. We cannot sit back and watch as the little remaining parcels of land continue to be taken away.

We are talking about people who have not enjoyed the freedom of owning land though they have occupied it for years. We are talking of people who have, for the lack of enforceable law, not been provided with title deeds for the land they occupy.

It is not the time to take away whatever little piece of land that belongs to these communities but the time to empower them and give them the control of this land. They should have the say on whether they want to continue administering it as a community or to divide it amongst themselves.

It is therefore curious that the Community Land Bill 2015, which purports to provide for the administration and management of community land, fails to establish a viable institutional framework for the governance of community land as it consolidates regulatory power in the Cabinet Secretary in charge of Lands.

The structure of registered community, whose establishment is provided for in the proposed law is severely limiting and does not lend itself to the expectations of the communities who had proposed a three tier inverted pyramid institutional framework, in line with the social hierarchy of the community informal set up.

The nature of community land title as provided for in the proposed law is tallied on exclusive individualistic private tenure titling without due regard to the flexible and inclusive nature in which communities hold, access, control and use community land.

The kind of community land title we as leaders from affected regions have always proposed is best suited to work with land use planning framework that involves the community in planning. We must realize that these communities take land as part of their livelihood and we cannot therefore turn it into a commercial commodity.

We see that the proposed law diverts heavily from the proposals of the taskforce as it is majorly about converting community land to other categories. The 2014 proposals had a schedule for specific conversion of public land back to community land as a way of dealing with historical land injustices.

The many squatters at the Coast region are victims of this alienation that resulted from converting community land to public land owned by the government. They were then left at the mercy of the government as they were displaced and dispossessed.

Related to this, it is unfortunate that the historical Land Injustices Bill that had been formulated by the constitutional National Land Commission (NLC) has been swallowed by the Land Laws (amendment) Bill, 2015. This former was suited to help Kenyans deal with the long-ranging illegal and irregular allocation of community

GOVERNOR TUNAI SPEECH ON NAROK MASHUJAA DAY

Governor Samuel Tunai, the day’s guest of honor, took the occasion to announce that two foreign investors have confirmed plans to set up a meat processing and, separately, a potato processing firm in the county.

The two firms mark the first batch of investors to enter Narok since Governor Tunai began a concerted international campaign to woo investors in preparation for the county’s first investors’ conference. For the first time, the Governor also announced the date of the much anticipated investor conference: December 2nd -3rd.

The Governor also explained that he was looking to get investors in the major produce sectors of the county, in particular wheat, maize, meat and milk processing. There is no reason, he declared, why Narok’s produce should be leaving the county without value-addition and the added returns to our farmers.

Citing the ongoing tarmaking of the Nairagie Enkare road, the governor assured residents that his administration would continue its development efforts in all other sectors. In this financial year, the county government will spend 2 billion on roads.

STATEMENT BY JUBILEE LEADERS AT THE PRAYER RALLY AT SUSWA GROUNDS, NAROK COUNTY

We the people of Kenya, thank the Almighty God for protecting our country, uniting our communities and answering our prayers. Over the last few months, we have witnessed revelations in various forms.

Starting with the judge who
withdrew her participation in the cases due to her involvement in the passage of the controversial Rule 68; actors on both sides of the political divide now admitting for the first time that they either knew of, or participated in the framing of the
accused, and yesterday's confirmation by human rights activists of their knowledge of the use of false witnesses.

We wish therefore to restate the following:

1. We affirm our strong belief in and commitment to the rule
of law, due process and constitutionalism. Kenya is a sovereign, democratic society with a robust Bill of Rights that guarantees freedom of thought, speech and expression. When we subscribed to the Rome Statute, we believed that these constitutional
rights would be the basis of our engagement with the ICC.

2. The statement by the Trial Chamber attempting to lecture,
intimidate and gag Kenyans and their leaders in the mistaken hope that they will subdue them into silence is unfortunate, unlawful and a gross violation of the basic values of the Rome Statute and fundamental principles of international law.

3. We are shocked that this unwarranted lecture and attempted intimidation by the Chamber was orchestrated, prosecuted and determined by the Court without an application by any party as would be expected of any judicial institution of any standard.

4. This raises fundamental questions on the general independence and integrity of the Court: on whose behalf, at whose behest, on whose motion and for what benefit was the
Court acting in making this bizarre intervention?

5. We want the ICC to understand that respect is EARNED.

When the Court violates basic tenets of international law and its own Statute by orchestrating the introduction of rules midway through a trial, then goes ahead to enforce them retrospectively, how do they expect any respect? When the Court degenerates into believing statements that have been recanted by the witnesses who authored them before judges in court, the court cannot and should not escape criticism. When the Court frustrates the establishment and operationalisation of an independent oversight mechanism as provided by Article 112(4) of the Rome Statute to ensure accountability of all its
organs, and instead opts to operate opaquely and with impunity, then where does the court find the morality and legitimacy to lecture Kenyans and their leaders?

6. For the record, on Friday, Kenyan parliamentarians from CORD and Jubilee petitioned both the Assembly of State Parties and the United Nations Security Council to without any further delay set up and operationalise the independent
oversight mechanism envisaged in Article 112 (4) and to immediately conduct an inquiry into the Kenyan cases and specifically the matters of witness procurement, bribery and
coaching that have bedeviled the Kenyan cases from their commencement, and which have recently been corroborated by
critical actors.

NOW THEREFORE, AND FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT, we the people of Kenya wish to state that we are a sovereign, democratic and independent nation founded on the principles of the rule of law, respect for human rights and constitutionali
sm, and that we now do and will resist at all costs, by all means
and at all times any forms of dictatorship from any quarter,
including the ICC. Kenya is and shall continue to be a free, open and democratic society and nothing less. We shall continue to speak and continue in prayer. These we will defend with our all.

YOUTHS OPPOSED TO DP ICC PRAYERS IN NAROK

The ICC Prayer rally for Deputy President William Ruto and Radio Journalist Joshua Arap Sang, that was set to be held in Suswa, Narok County this Sunday has been hit by a hitch following a threat by local youths to block it.

In a statement sent to newsrooms, Lemayian Ole Kereto, a resident who was speaking on behalf of the youth, said they were against the
prayer rally to be held in Narok.

Research, Education and training of Game reserve is my Ultimate goal for NAROK- Tunai

By Samuel Kuntai Ole Kuntai

It has been great being hosted by Clemson University in South Carolina. We were hosted by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management. It was also great meeting
with the president, Clemson University, James P. Clements.

My delegation and I visited the Clemons University Institute for Parks - Clemson Institute for Parks provides a comprehensive program of research, education, training and outreach that enhances the management of the World's parks, game reserves and protected areas, while concurrently
increasing the global public's understanding of the natural, cultural and recreational value of these treasured resources.

After that tour, we engaged the faculty on the following key
issues in regard to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve: Means of providing research to inform more effective and efficient management decisions; Increasing individual and institutional
capacity through transformative leadership education programs; Connecting the global community and delivering just-in-time knowledge through innovative internet linkages;
Promoting the relevance of game reserve to a rapidly changing,
multicultural, and global society.

We also visited the University's Social Media Listening Center. This is an interdisciplinary research laboratory and teaching facility that is able to listen, discover, measure and engage
across the web- social media conversations. It provides a graphic display of social media content to convey sentiment, share of voice, trend information, geo-location data among
other aspects.

This was an exploration on how to enhance security in the Mara and freedom of the animals, necessity of a fully-fledged research center and animal comfort within the Mara. With our firm commitment to implement the Mara Management Plan, we are exploring some of the best practices in trying to overcomthe Mara challenges.

We are reaching out for partnerships, aimed at implementing the Mara Management Plan, which will effectively boost security mechanisms at the Mara for the animals to hinder poaching; increase surveillance; enhance protection of visitors while enhancing the experience of visitors; and ultimately to increase revenue collection at the Mara.

For over forty years since the Mara became a protected area as a wildlife sanctuary billions of dollars have been channeled to our economy, hundreds of thousands of jobs created, businesses nourished and livelihoods created.
Yet, over the same period to-date, the priceless gem that the Mara is, and its ecosystem have sadly faced frightening
decline. Through the period of the Mara’s existence, man and wildlife have jostled for space and natural resources for survival, both categories have felt threatened.

I am keen to have the ultimate glory of Maasai Mara attained.

NO Sweets, Airtime for change to customers, CBK warns Supermarkets

The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) has issued a warning to supermarkets that offer sweets, airtime or matchboxes as a substitute for monetary change, citing shortage of coins.

CBK Governor Dr Patrick Njoroge dismissed the notion (of coin shortage), stating that there was adequate coins circulating in the market.

"There is an adequate stock of coins and the CBK has issued commercial banks with sufficient quantities of Kenya currency coins to facilitate smooth settlement of transactions," Njoroge said.

In a press statement, the CBK Governor added that it was against the law to deny customers the possibility of obtaining their change in monetary form, or the opportunity to agree to
settle the transaction in any other form.

Dr Njoroge cautioned Commercial banks, supermarkets and other entities to refrain from such practices and urged
Commercial banks to constantly ensure that coins are re-circulated efficiently at all times to their respective
customers.

CBK instructed members of the public to report any difficulties experienced while using coins as a means of exchange to any Branch or Currency Centre of the Central Bank of Kenya.

I dont support Rutto’s CCM and Sen. Ntutu is not maasai spokesman -Moitalel Ole Kenta

Narok North MP Moitalel ole Kenta has distanced himself from Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto’s new Chama Cha Mashinani party saying he is an “ardent”
TNA supporter.

Speaking to the Star yesterday, the MP said Narok Senator Stephen ole Ntutu does not speak for the entire Maasai community.

“Ntutu should stop masquerading as the spokesman of the Maa community. He will not determine our political direction,”

Two weeks ago, Senator Ntutu attended a fundraiser in Emurua Dikirr constituency presided over by Gideon Moi and Rutto where he hinted at working with the two which could dilute URP’s influence.

KNUT Sossion DISOWN Earning Sh 940,000 Monthly salary

Kenya National Union of Teachers Secretary General Wilson Sossion has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta ’s Chief Policy Advisor Nancy Gitau, of circulating a fake pay slip on social
media purporting to be his.

Sossion said that KNUT had proper audited accounts, approved by the union's organs and that nobody in the union earned a basic salary above Sh200,000.

The Secretary General took to his twitter handle where he disowned the pay slip that indicated that he earned a basic salary of Sh940,000.

Sossion also condemned the social media attacks, stating that it was unfortunate that the union's fight for teachers rights led to a negative campaign against it.

He received criticism on social media after instructing teachers to boycott work despite court's suspension of the strike with some saying that he ought to follow the rulings made.

However, some felt that Sossion was simply doing what teachers had appointed him to do and supported his every move.

Last week, the industrial court suspended the teachers' strike for 90 days urging the conflicting parties to hold conciliatory meetings so as to establish modalities of payment.

The Court further ordered teachers to go back to work but the unions defied the ruling directing teachers to boycot duty until they instructed them otherwise.

After failing to meet with the judge on Monday, the union instructed teachers to stay at home until they met on
Thursday in court after which they would decide on the way forward.

Troubles in Jubilee government Reshuffles by UHURU

Trouble in Jubilee : Uhuru cabinet list Ruto rejected

That there could be a chill in the working between Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto is the talk in town. The matter played out last week when Ruto kept Uhuru waiting at State House for
hours only to reject a cabinet shuffle list Uhuru had prepared.

This week, we reveal the names of the people Uhuru had appointed to the cabinet which Ruto rejected. Top was that of former Chief of the General Staff Julius Karangi. According to the list, Uhuru had split the ministry
of Interior and Co-ordination into two ministries where Karangi was designated to head the new ministry of Homeland Security leaving Joseph
Nkaissery with that of Co-ordination.
The ministry’s core function is to keep Kenya safe and secure and to coordinate national government functions.

According to the new line-up, Karangi was to be in charge of Internal Security covering police, immigration, prisons and correctional services while Nkaissery was to be left with the core function of coordination of government functions and services at the county and subcounty levels.

Ruto claimed, by Uhuru appointing his man to head the security docket, this was going to take away the powers of the Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet who is a Ruto man.

Currently, Nkaissery is the one controlling the security docket and he is said to be going on well with Boinnet.

Karangi is a well-known Uhuru loyalist and is now one of his lieutenants in Central region.

Karangi comes from Nyeri county.
Another name that Ruto rejected is that of the Malindi North MP Gideon Mung’aro. Mung’aro had been appointed to replace suspended Labour CS Kazungu Kambi. Kambi who is allied to Ruto’s URP insisted that his replacement had to come from his URP side. Mung’aro and Uhuru are political bed fellows having known each other when Uhuru was the chairman of Kenya Tourism Board and Mung’aro, the mayor of Malindi where he did well on tourism.

It is not, however, known which name Ruto had preferred to replace Kambi but sources say he had requested that Kambi be reinstated back to
the cabinet.

Uhuru’s proposal to include Mung’aro is a plot to get foothold in Kilifi after Mung’aro had bitter fallout with Cord leader Raila Odinga after his demotion as minority whip in the national assembly. Kilifi is considered ODM political turf.

The chairman of the Committee on
Implementation of Constitution Charles
Nyachae’s name had also featured in the Uhuru list. He had been marked to take over the Devolution docket leaving the embattled Anne Waiguru with Planning Docket.

Ruto’s rejection of Nyachae was based on the fact that he has his own people in Kisii whom he had preferred appointed to the position and saw it as a political plot by Uhuru advisers to woo Kisiis. Currently, Ruto enjoys more support from the Abagusii community compared to Uhuru. The man who has been said to be doing ground work for Ruto in Kisii is deputy governor Joash Maangi.

Sources say although Maangi is ODM, his
political links cuts across the political divide in Kisii and has come out to be influential man in Abagusii politics. He is believed to be the Jubilee’s gubernatorial candidate in 2017.

Already, his boss James Ongwae has panicked knowing that Maangi is a shrewd politician.

According to sources, Ruto had wished Maangi gets the position as he claims that Nyachae is close to Uhuru family by virtue of Nyachae’s step-mother coming from the Mount Kenya region.

Ruto has never forgiven the Nyachae family after he was forced to flee when violence erupted as they were viciously attacked by youths in South Mugirango constituency when they attempted to attend a fundraiser presided over by Nyachae. Ruto was accompanied by Omingo Magara.

Another contentious issue was Uhuru’s
insistence that cabinet secretaries allied to Ruto were to be replaced. Ruto had insisted that Felix Koskei and as well as Chief of Staff Marianne Keittany be reinstated back to the cabinet.

Sources say Ruto had agreed that Davis Chirchir be replaced and the name that had been proposed is that of Julius Kones. He is former Konoin constituency MP and in 2013 elections he contested the Bomet gubernatorial race.

To show that DP Ruto has soft spot for Kones, through his proposal and influence, he was appointed board chairman of the National Water Conservation and Pipeline Corporation by Uhuru. Guv Ruto has been complaining that the DP has been grooming Kones to vie against him in 2017.

Ruto is said to have been working on a plot to wrestle the South Rift from the DP. South Rift comprises the Kispsigis sub tribe of the Kalenjin and is the most populous and accounts for close to 43pc of the Kalenjin population.

Ruto is also alleged to have stood his ground that if Waiguru was not going to step aside then Marianne had to be reinstated unconditionally
.
According to sources, Uhuru had not fronted names of CSs to replace Michael Kamau and Charity Ngilu something that Ruto did not take kindly and which was interpreted to mean that the two who are allied to TNA could find their way back to the cabinet.

MEET GOVERNOR TUNAI AND HIS VISION FOR NAROK

GOVERNOR TUNAI TAKES ON HIS ADMINISTRATION-One on one interview

Narok has challenges but we are slowly turning them into opportunities. We are implementing our strategic plans to deliver life-changing services to our people. The sky is the limit for my Administration." He says

World Bank ranked our county, as among the top performing and despite political wrangles but we are course to delivering on the promises we made to the electorate.

The Governor says the team works hard— from himself,DG,CEC to the Members of the County Assembly—and that remains a strength that not many counties enjoy.

“We consult widely on various issues and resolve differences in an inclusive manner,” he adds.

He says a blend of different skills among the top leadership is delivering great results.

The governor comes on board with a wealth of experience from the
private sector, and thus brings management expertise while his deputy has a strong background in the civil society specialising on improving lives—just the right mix for a county that has been marginalised since independence.

“Livestock is the livelihood of our pastoralists. That’s why we have a major rolled out water provision services across the county and improved vaccination and watering troughs services as we build a regional livestock market”.

To attract investors the county government is making the business environment conducive.

He says narok county  is a virgin investment region and they are taking lessons from remote countries, which have turned themselves into industrial hubs.

There are opportunities such as a growing population that provides market and labour, maasai mara game reserve  and even food production  for industries,” he says.

Live Accordingly

It’s an honor to be here at Stratmore university  again.Education remains the best chance any nation can give its children and this university does a great job at giving it. There is this famous journalist Hellen Thomas who served longest as White House Correspondent. She saw nine presidents come and go, beginning with JF Kennedy in 1960 to Lyndon Johnson, to Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Bill Clinton and George Bush junior, and she covered president Obama until she retired in 2010. After observing the lives of these presidents, Hellen came to this conclusion: “That if you want to go into public life, decide at the age of five and live accordingly.”I want to speak to you on Living Accordingly. You are growing up in a freer and more open country than the one we grew up in. The foundation has been laid for you to pursue your dreams and to succeed. But we have much to improve on. It is you to carry on with that journey. From time to time, the world has witnessed great revolutions. The Industrial Revolution ushered in the steam locomotive, automobile and the telephone among other inventions.Today, we are in the ICT revolution that puts all earlier inventions to shame. It will enable you do things you never imagined and my generation never dreamed of.You never used the typewriter, telephone booth or fax machine and didn’t have to use the telegram or even buy postage stamps.I had a conversation with one teenager who told me the basic needs of life are no longer food, shelter and clothing as is taught in Economics 101.Young people now begin the day checking the phone battery and data bundles. Something to wear, something to eat and a place to sleep come much later. Battery, bundles and the phone are the new basic needs.Everywhere, everyone is free to voice an opinion and even tell the President off, thanks to ICT.One could say it is easier to succeed today because of these revolutions. But the revolutions have also created a more competitive and more confused and confusing world. What does it mean to Live Accordingly in times like these? What does it take?I will share my thoughts.Despite the changes around us, certain basics remain constant.President Bill Clinton recently said that if he were to sum up his view of public life, it would come down to… “Are people better off when you quit than when you started? Do children have a brighter future? Are things coming together instead of being torn apart?” I can say without fear of contradiction that President Clinton spoke for me. He has lived my life and pursued my dream. To Live Accordingly requires that you set up certain standards; not just basic standards but high standards. It requires that you have some principles and stick to them no matter what. Some people decide that freedom is a principle worth defending and dying for. Nelson Mandela did.At the start of his trial in April 1964 Mandela said: “During my lifetime I have dedicated myself to this struggle of the African people. I have fought against white domination, and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve. But if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die.”Some decide that equality and dignity of the human race are worth dying for. Martin Luther King did: “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character,” he said. King went on: “I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal.” “I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of the former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.”Whatever it is, there must be something you are willing and ready to die for. That is Living Accordingly.Otherwise you live in vain. That, in my view, is what distinguishes human beings from the beasts of the wild.I know this school has some ambitious Kenyans with big dreams. I hope Benedict Nzioki is here? I am aware Benedict has made inquiries on what it takes to be president because he is thinking of being president one day. And I encourage him to explore it. Those who want to be First Ladies and running mates, now you know.Benedict only needs to be courageous. That too is part of Living Accordingly. It takes courage to cause change. At some stage, all of us need to be able to ask; “Is there anything I have been able to put myself on the line for, for the sake of my community, my neighbor or my country?Remember J.F. Kennedy: “My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.”Regardless of what you hear, the successes and failures you see, I want to tell you that it still pays to work hard and play by the rules. Success is a lie when founded on short cuts and deals negotiated in smoke-filled rooms. Don Williams sings of “some schemers, some sinners and dreamers” none of whom died wishing they spent more time at work. Avoid this group like a plague. They are living dangerously. Today, you grow up in a world scoured by new and serious security threats. It is highly unlikely that terrorism will be stamped out in our lifetime. But it is possible that by your attitudes and responses, we can bridge the gap by ensuring a more equitable, more just and fairer society. If we build a society in which one section is more likely to be poorer than the other, where some are likely to go to school than others, we are likely to see more of extremism. That is the society we have built in the last fifty years. We are now in a race against time to reverse it through Devolution. Is there anybody here from Northern Kenya, or Kilifi, Kwale or Turkana? As you travel to Nairobi do you sense the difference between the regions? Do you ask yourselves why? Do you sometimes wish not to go back to your rural home because it is a deprived place?Well, your generation did not create the divided and unequal Kenya. But you can use your education to change and not perpetuate it. That is Living Accordingly. Many a times, unfortunately, we have used our privilege of education to justify the inequality and marginalization.By Living Accordingly, young people can keep bad things from happening to our country. You can force a rethink. The youth in the US have done it three times. American students like you caused a rethink of the slavery and discrimination laws through civil rights movement. They stood up against the war in Vietnam. In 2008; they forced the election of the first ever black President in the Western Hemisphere. There has never been a shortage of such young people in this country. I often talk to you about the Young Turks who took it upon themselves to reclaim the country from a solid dictatorship. It was a solid dictatorship. Back then, solitary confinement meant just that. Nothing like today when WhatSapp and tweets can show people you are alive in jail and even where you are being held.Ngugi wa Thiongo wrote books on toilet paper in detention. Some victims lost limbs by standing in water clogged cells for years.Which should remind us of the words of President Franklin Roosevelt:”Those who have long enjoyed such privileges as we enjoy forget in time that men have died to win them.”Our nation is much better today because some people decided to wage selfless battles. We are where we are because some of our citizens pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their dignity. They lived accordingly. It is a life still worth living. Our country still needs people who are prepared to Live Accordingly. Those people have to be you. Thank you.

KWS oppressing locals in NAROK EAST, NTULELE; LOCAL to hold a DEMO Tuesdays

ON Tuesday, April 7, 2015 KWS Rangers kill in cold blood two innocent Maasai Youth in Mosiro, Kajiado

Saturday morning, the news of the shootings of two young, unarmed evangelists in a prayer session by KWS Rangers shook Narok and Kajiado Counties. Ole Lenkume and Ole Taki were praying and fasting in the forest when the KWS Rangers opened fire and killed them instantly in pretext that they were poachers. (RIP)
The matter was reported and several people recorded statements with the police at Ntulele. Kajiado West MP, Hon. Sakuda assured of justice for the victims.

The area Member of County Assembly and the community  gave the Government a seven days ultimatum to arrest the Rangers failure to that they thretean to  kill all elephants and alluded that no KWS Ranger will ever step on Mosiro again. The Government is yet to respond to the community's ultimatum upto now.

This has become a common issue to  the maasai community in both Kajiado and Narok Counties grapples with rising cases of police torture, human rights violations and impunity in the police force. KWS Rangers has a history of prejudicial and extra judicial killing of innocent community members in the name of suspected poachers; Two years ago, in the same area, on the Narok County side they killed four people who were rescuing a school girl from early forced marriage. The rangers who were never arrested claimed that they mistook the four for poachers. Other rangers captured and circulated a video they took while brutally beating up herders at Amboseli Game Reserve last year.

"What KWS ignores is the fact that, the maasai since time immemorial have coexisted and still live in harmony with the wild life, it is in Maasalaind where you will find the two big National Game Reserves in Kenya, Amboseli and Maasai Mara; and can never be associated with poaching.

It's very sad, inhuman ,unfair barbaric  and shameful to see the government demanding a fine of 60 million or a life sentence in prison to one of our own Tiapukel Kuyuoni who comes from the same place ,for being suspected to have elephant's ivory.

Before taking taking that weird action to our son, the kws rangers who killed innocent people should be serving a life sentence  in prison.

For that reason students, youth and ntulele residents have declared a mega demonstration on 15th Tuesday next week.

Why Uhuru and Ruto will depart soon

In politics, they say there are no permanent friends or enemies. This is the poignant statement that Prof Makau Mutua in his weekly column published by Sunday Standard has laboured to illustrate.

Times are getting tough for deputy president William Ruto who the International Criminal Court (ICC) seems to have t ightened its case against him when they allowed
recanted statements to be used as evidence by the prosecutor.

It is reported that Ruto has gone into a panic mode with this development, and Mutua doesn’t seem to be making
it easier for him while advancing his theories on why Uhuru may drop him altogether.

Here are Mutua’s reasons.
1. Ruto no longer commands the Kalenjin vote which has been his key bargaining chip.
“… Ruto was only useful to Kenyatta as the Kalenjin kingpin. But alas, Ruto’s reign atop the Kalenjin
Nation has become wobbly, ” he writes saying that the dynamics of the Kalenjin politics have fast shifted
with governor Isaac Rutto becoming a key threat to Ruto.

2. President Barack Obama’s visit proved that Kenyatta does not need Ruto.
“.. Kenyatta kept Ruto largely closeted, although he did let him out on several occasions to meet K’Ogelo’s
most famous scion .”

3. With Kenyatta no longer wanted by the ICC , Ruto is now seen as ‘a liability’ and paints a bad image to the former.

“ Ruto’s ICC woes make him a liability — a diplomatic embarrassment — to Kenyatta. Going to the ballot in
2017 with Ruto is akin to taking a malaria-ravaged patient to the battlefield. It would be foolhardy for
Mr Kenyatta to go to war with a lame duck. “

4. No one wants Ruto to become president in 2022.

“Ruto has served his purpose for Kenyatta. He can now be discarded. It’s like the law of gravity —
whatever goes up must come down. Politics is a utilitarian game, not a sport of sentimentality. The coalition of Kenyatta and Ruto is limping to the finish line — 2017 — and they both know it. Don’t be fooled by public expressions of fidelity to each other.
It’s over — gone and done with. It’s time for divorce — coming soon,” Mutua writes in closing remarks.

We all need each other to strive as a community

Numerical size doesn’t make any tribe in Kenya more important than the other. Neither financial strength, nor intellectual and oratory prowess, makes one superior to the other.

Every nation thrives on the strengths
as well as weaknesses of its composite tribes.

We can’t all be professors. Universities need janitors. We can’t all be doctors. Hospitals require the services of nurses. We can’t all be traders. Businesses need security guards to keep potential thieves at bay.

We can’t all be top athletes. Someone has to keep any eye on the clock to check the timings; another on the finishing line to determine who came first, second, and third.

NAROK WOMEN POST Up for GRASP

"Press on: nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.

As a wishful and service committed leader, Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent."

There goes the will of a leader i wish to elect. S/he should be committed and persistence in her or his way of doing normal duties

Representative of Women in national assembly need people who see beyond their circles of relations and deeds of wishes and service before self.

Nothing comes on a silver plater not even in investing on your genuine and potential opponent mistakes or undoings, Lest you forget.

It goes noticed in wisdom and public cycles that Lydia Naneu Ntimama will be on the ballot comes 2017 December if the MPS ammendment the constitution that gives the people to exercise their democratic right of voting on 2nd Tuesday of August in the fifth year.

She has justify her ability to lead in what can be said behind the royal family which people are agreeing that she made a mistake of running against her father final years of leadership. Surface Politician and analysis argue the patronage drains got the declining of able leadership narok.

Lydia in equal terms got desires to lead as Desire is creation, is the magical element in that process.

And truely If there were an instrument by which to measure desire, one could foretell achievement which all goes on an assumption portal of prejudice. I can call it in its real name for purposes of its magnanimity to ensure the narok people are not coerced to make a regrettable adventure.

A politician needs the ability to foretell what is going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month, and next year. And to have the ability afterwards to explain why it didn't happen which according to many people here who say could be electing Entito orkingi comes 2017 if she shelfed her interests 2013 for 2017.

The double loss of election 2013 in ntimama family is a determinant the future confidence of narokians to bestowe leadership mantle to the Lydia.

By virtue of and in accrued knowledge of kenyan democracy it is impossible to foretell the future with any degree of accuracy, that it is
impossible to rehearse life.

Lydia is hiding in the Muthaiga 5 cocoons for a sympathetic gesture to see herself on the women Representative post which is minimal to the expections of many people in narok.

The entrance of Rebecca Tonkei in the race of women representative in narok county is a game changer and it has already shifted the post and has send sparks to the fellow aspirants.

Rebecca Tonkei who is Human resource personnel in Parliament has declared the interest in the seat and already gunning huge and unprecedented support in her home Mau narok and Transmara where she was born and raised.

The interest on Muthaiga 5 has been out in black and white that yes its "Governorship" post that is their main concern and anyone thinking of taking advantage for MP seat or something of that sort is living a lie.

And any person assuming this fact is living a big lie. The comments around arouse the virtue analysis of narok leadership could be better than it is.

I thank kilgoris people for showing interest in women rep post. narok East and loita are commendable too.

With Lydia "Entito orkingi" it was best placed to have foretell not running with able maasai king who actually was the man to watch in Maasai politics William Rongorua Ole ntimama.

The article in Kenyan constitution doesn’t reason like what the actual maasai kinship politics of inheritance could wish to be but rather guarantee people a right to vote, vie and even boycott the election.

A fault in the politics scenery, a face slap in the audience, an interruption of the audience on to the stage, and all our carefully planned gesture mean nothing, or mean too much in putting our future in order.

Letter to William Ruto the Anti-Gay Deputy President

By ABIGAIL ARUNGA

Dear Deputy President,

My best friend is gay. She is also Kenyan.

She lives in a country where the majority of people are homophobic, and the other day you proved that the leadership is as well.

You made a rather ignorant statement the other day about how there is no room for homosexuals in Kenya, almost as if you think that being Deputy President gives you
licence to speak with authority on what people like in the bedroom.

Tell me sir, do you like whips? Or chains? Or 'strange things' in the bedroom? And then, tell me, do you think it is any of my business? It really isn't.

WHY WE CAN’T PROSPER
Instead of discussing the numerous Kenyans who died recently, Parliament is busily forming anti-gay caucuses. This is why we, as a nation, cannot prosper, because we are
busy debating things like whether people should be allowed to fight for their basic, human, inalienable rights.
What a waste of valuable time.

For the record, sir, being homophobic does not mean that you are scared of
homosexuals. It means you are a terrible person who does not care about basic human welfare, and you are of the belief that anyone who does not agree with you has no place here.

This is a scary trajectory. After sexuality, what next? Tribe? Religion? Will there be no room for other 'types' in Kenya? It sounds like an oncoming holocaust to me, because all forms of oppression are linked.

TRY AND UNDERSTAND
Look, I can understand being scared of something you do not understand, but the automatic and logical reaction to something you are scared of is to try and understand it, not burn it to the ground.

You claim to be a Christian. Where would you be if your kinsmen had burnt all the missionaries to ash?

Speaking of your Christianity, Christianity itself tells us to love one another; to not pull out the splinter in someone's eye before pulling out the log in ours.

If we are going on the basis of Christianity and if indeed homosexuality is a sin, then it follows that whatever sin you, the Deputy President have committed, is equal to that of the people you are apparently trying to kick out of their country.

It is their country just as much as it is
yours.

It is my country as much as it is yours.
A country you are supposed to be a servant of.

You are supposed to be a servant of the people. All people who are Kenyan.

BASIC EMPATHY

Even if you separate people on the basis of leadership — a separation of church and state — what you have made is a blatantly irresponsible statement.

Do you think people are not already
victimising those who are homosexual, or thought to be homosexual? Your comments made it infinitely worse.

Your role, as a leader of this wonderful country that clearly has homosexuals in it, is not to condemn and judge. Your role is to make sure that as Kenyans, they get the rights they deserve.

As a human being, I am insulted that you would make such an obviously biased and insensitive comment about another human being – to make them feel unworthy, when they are not.

As a Kenyan, I am deeply offended that this is how you go about protecting the rights of people you claim to lead.

It is unfortunate that you lack basic
empathy — which means you do not
understand or seek to understand issues you cannot relate with, like poverty, homosexuality or an increase in fuel prices.

And so you have proceeded, with your
hateful speech, to alienate and distancevyourself even further from my vote.

I dream of a Kenya where the idea of rights for all is not debatable but a norm for me, for my best friend, and for anyone who lives within our shores.

Because one day you'll take away my rights too, if we keep going on like this. Just as you want to take away hers.

Thank you for continuing to show me who you really are.

Yours,
Abigail Arunga

Brief KANU History|| KANU fresh

BRIEF HISTORY ABOUT KANU
Kenya African National Union (KANU) is a mass movement. Its background rests on the British Colonial history in
Kenya. That is why KANU is credited as the Party that brought political independence to our country Kenya.

As far back as in the 1920s and 1930s, the Kenyan Africans had started to agitate against the settlement of British people in Kenya. This was a result of the fact that some of the Africans who raised these questions had earlier served of fought in the 1st world war in the German East Africa(Tanzania). They started forming Political Associations,
which agitated for representation in the legislative council.

In 1940, the British colonialists banned most of the African political associations. It was at that stage that the few remaining tribal based Political Associations started to
broaden membership countrywide. In 1944 Kenya African Union (KAU) was formed by the late James Gichuru. Mzee Jomo Kenyatta returned from Britain where he was agitating for independence and assumed the leadership of KAU.

By 1950, the Africans had already become impatient with the colonial rule and the clandestine movement called Mau Mau was started as an armed struggle for independence.
It unleashed plenty of violence and a state of emergency was declared on October 20th 1952. (This is the day we now and celebrate as Kenyatta Day).

Our political leaders led by Mzee Jomo Kenyatta were detained. All political activities were banned. This vacuum was filled by African Labour Federation (ALF) led by the late Tom Mboya as the head. It is this union that eventually played a crucial role in the legalization of African Political Associations in the late1950s.

In 1959, political activities were in full swing. On March 27th 1960, a leader conference was convened in Kiambu. After proposing a formation of a countrywide political party to be called Uhuru Independence Party of Kenya, leaders eventually agreed to form Kenya African National Union (KANU). The first national elections were done on14th May 1960 in Kiambu with James Gichuru as acting
President pending the release of Mzee Jomo Kenyatta. The colonialists started to work out how to limit KANU from commanding countrywide support. They encouraged the leaders of smaller tribal Political Associations to form a common front against KANU. These associations held their
meeting at Ngong on 25th June 1960 and formed Kenya African Democratic Union (KADU) with the late Ronald Ngala as the head. The first multi-party polls were held in
1961. KANU won but could not form a coalition government until Kenyatta was released. Kenyatta was released on 14th August 1961. KANU and KADU formed a coalition with a view of strengthening African unity on the road to full independence. The coalition did not last long. KANU wanted a strong central government with a unitary constitution while KADU wanted a weak central government within a federal (majimbo) constitution.

A compromised situation was settled for a strong central government with moderate powers vested in the regional assemblies.

The coalition only lasted from April 1962 to May 1963. General Elections were held between May 18th to 26th 1963 and KANU trounced KADU by winning 83 of the 124 seats in the House of Representatives. It also won a majority in the senate and in three of the 7 regional assemblies namely
Nyanza, Central and Eastern. KANU proceeded to form the internal self-government on 1st June 1963 (Madaraka Day).

On November 10th 1964, the leader of KADU Hon. Ronald Ngala announced the voluntary dissolution of KADU. Thus we started the road to Political, Social and Economic development under single Party system until 1990 when section 2A of the constitution was removed paving way for the reintroduction of multi-party system which is prevailing in Kenya till present.

My government has a place for orphans and widows; Re-affirms Governor Tunai

Fundraising in Rongena led by Governor Samuel Kuntai Ole Tunai and Governor Isaac Kiprono Ruto , Was a step forward to empowering the widows in the region.

Empowering a woman is empowering the society.Other leaders than to
engage in endless political bickering should emulate this illustrious examples.

The Sh 10 million that was raised should be put to use prudently and ensure the objects of the fundraising are met.

Governor Tunai said the county assembly will enact a bill that
will ensure widows, orphans, disables and widowers are well taken care for in order to cut the teeth of poverty and ignorance in our society.

The fund drive was in narok West constituency. The people of narok West promised to work with governor Tunai and comes 2017, they will show the door leaders who are opposing development.

Time is up! My people need answers. Cattle rustling buck stops at the leadership

You may have thought cattle rustling was a thing of the past , a common theme in old western movies, but nothing could be further from the truth .

In Kilgoris central particularly the border between Transmara west and East it is really disheartening to note that the people live in a society hopeless.

The probability of your cows being stolen overnight and it being save is very high. The leadership arms seem to be getting incentives of the culprits because they are on routine diaries.

The government should come to help the people from frequent stock theft and even use KWS to remote brand and detect the cows on the border to minimise the menace and give people living peace of mind at least for once.

As old fashioned and outdated a practice as it  may seems , branding is still one of the best ways to protect our animals, Even with all the technology today , Romote branding is the best way to permanently identify
cattle .

Leadership with local administration has proven it's inability to curb the regular stealing of cows where the known culprits walk scot free after the press of poverty light to a family.

Stealing, of course, is a crime, and a very impolite thing to do. But like most impolite things, it is never excusable under any certain circumstance.

A leadership that ignore this fact is living a lie of which it should be addressed. It's either for a leadership to end cattle stealing or we end their term of office.

I always believe that ultimately, if people are paying attention, then we get good government and good leadership. And when we get lazy, as a democracy and civically start taking shortcuts, then it results in bad government and politics.

Our young people die while trying to guard their homestead against goons and bandits who the government ignores and give them soft bonds which i see it as encouragement the ritten vice.

Every cattle stolen, everu gun that is made, every conflict launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed, are constituent and not given the right services like protection of life and property but the government.

In kilgoris there is a culture of a  growing humanity of research suggests that our brains are wired to resist change, to be content with the status quo. “It could be that humans
are wired to be natural naysayers, Or do i say

Sometimes those we look to for leadership can let us down. When King Saul and his officers faced the
belligerent insults of the Philistine giant Goliath, they responded with fear and timidity.

(1 Sam. 17:11). But a young musician and shepherd boy named David had faith in God that transformed his
perspective on this threat. David said to Goliath, “You come to me with a sword But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts” (v.45). David
defeated the enemy and turned the tide of battle (v.50). He did not look to earthly leaders for his strength but to the living God.

When others like our leaders who we trusted them with our votes lets us down, God may be calling us to provide leadership in His strength and for His honor.

To the Narok leadership a Collective inquiry is nothing more than identifying your administration collective lack of knowledge (ignorance) and doing
something about it.

As a leader, you should guide your officers to discover the unknown. Next, leaders must empower them to
make a plan to learn about the unknown, and finally implement what they have learned. The leader must be current on leading research.

The more the local community and administration learns to work together, the more trust is solidified.

The more trust that is built between the teams and the government, Evidently, the more your leadership is respected.

Hey Governor Tunai; A hint on Public Health Sector; We need Toilets

"Public health is purchasable. Within a few natural and able & concern leadership and important limitations any community can determine its own health"

I don't mind paying a doctor more for helping to make me healthier. To help me live a longer life with more well-being. I'd pay them gladly. My problem is paying someone repeatedly to simply treat my symptoms, because they aren't actually compensated to solve my problem.

Too many people fall short of their potential in the leadership game, and also fail to enable or enhance the
leadership circles to(of) others.

Mr Governor My passion for good leadership often leads me to observe
and reflect on what happens in the grassroots, workplace for individuals and teams. I listen out for mixture of comments and frustrations, and have concluded that there are some
common misunderstandings about leadership issues

One of them being the need for public defecation in nourishing and civilised society. People need not only toilets but decent public toilets. I know many of these problems are systemic. They are old. And we will need considerable long periods of time and loads of energy to counter them. I believe we must start from somewhere.

The battle to end open defecation in kilgoris and in narok county needs to be fought on two radical fronts; on the ground with toilets and sanitation infrastructure, and in the hearts and minds of the people by repositioning toilets so that latrine use becomes the norm.

Mr. Governor, you have a golden
chance to brash ink your public name in our hearts and minds. Just build toilets!

Until we drive demand for toilets, we will not see the uptake and usage of toilets in narok county, even as toilets
become available.

We need to understand what motivates people, and position toilet use as aspirational, associated with a sense of pride and dignity, in order to encourage toilet use as a personal preference, and drive demand for toilets.

As a county we all measured for greatness by the virtue that we regard setting asside the place for defecation. Equivocally, We need to give priority to toilets and cleanliness.

Ever wonder why good leaders turn into bad ones almost over night or in a twinkle of an eye?

Or why an otherwise good person goes to public office genuinely committed to becoming an authentic public servant, only to emerge a short-time later as a totally self-interested, self-absorbed, pure-play politician?

You are there, calm as I brush you that it all makes sense. Not necessarily what you and I might call good sense, but sense enough for us to understand.

To understand, so that we can then nurture a new generation of leaders that don't do this. This is a short-version cheat-sheet on why even good
leaders step-in-it , and as a result, why the kenya we live in is increasingly all screwed up by politicians who think right outcast of their circles of who-we-know

This is also a short-form leadership bulletin on what you and I can do about it .

To sum up leaders should talk the say and walk the say to evidently work out devolution cries of our people.

Sadly and needless to say its hard to get someone to agree to the truth, when the lie is paying their paycheck.

Aspiring leaders must Create and nurture a new generation of young leaders that (i) know who they are, (ii) mean what they say, (iii) say what they mean, and (iv) actually do what they believe.

Governor Tunai a toilet is the tarting point of serious and committed public health.

WE NEED TOILETS
