A man was stabbed and killed in a case of love triangle in Narok South on Friday.
Weldon Kirui, 25, found a rival in the rented house of his 28-year-old lover Faith Lelei at Triangle trading centre leading to a bitter exchange.
Consequently, Mr Kirui was stabbed several times in the abdomen and chest with a kitchen knife and died on the spot.
According to Narok county police commander Mr Jilo Galgalo, Mr Kirui visited the woman’s house at 11pm and was angered to find her with another man, Mathew Kiplangat, 22.
The two men traded insults which degenerated into a fight. The suspect, who was saved by the police from angry villagers who wanted to lynch him, is in custody.
