GOVERNOR TUNAI'S ULTIMATUM ON EWASO NGIRO MARKET.....AND RIVER DIVERSION
Narok Governor Samuel Ole Tunai has given those who have constructed illegal structures in Ewaso Ngiro market until tomorrow - Monday 26 February - to remove them or face eviction. Speaking yesterday at Ewaso Ngiro trading center, the governor announced that the market is to be renovated, hence the need to clear illegal structures.
At the same time, Governor Tunai asked those who have diverted river Ewaso Ngiro from its natural trail to similarly demolish the diversions by Monday, failure to which the county government will take the necessary action.
