First patient recovers from Coronavirus in Kenya. says President Uhuru Kenyatta.

President  Kenyatta has also revealed that the confirmed Coronavirus cases have shot to 28 cases after three additional cases were reported.

This comes after the Kenyan Government suspended all international flights from the country, only allowing cargo planes to land.

Even the cargo aircraft staff are to be subjected to stringent tests to ensure no further infections emerge from the cross-border flights.

Police officers have also been dispatched to enforce the safe distance directive in Public Service Vehicles, even as the State directed people to stay at home.

All bars will be closed down Wednesday, March 25 midnight while all birthdays, chamas and parties of any kind suspended.

Only members of the immediate family will be allowed to attend burials. The total attendees being capped at 15.

By March 25, the confirmed cases stood at 25 after nine additional cases were reported. Seven were Kenyan nationals while two others were foreign nationals who had contracted the novel virus overseas.

By Wednesday, March 25, the global figures had infection cases at almost half a million, a hundred thousand recoveries and 19,000 deaths.

Spain has also surpassed China in terms of  Coronavirus deaths to clock 3,400 against China’s 3,280.

Italy and Iran come first and fourth at 6,800 and 2,080 cases respectively.
