President Salary in Kenya: On Wednesday, President Uhuru Kenyatta announced that he and deputy president William Ruto would be taking a pay cut in the face of the coronavirus scourge.
The 80 per cent pay cut is expected to come into effect starting next month. Following this announcement, the president will now be earning Sh. 288,750 while the deputy president will be taking home Sh. 245,438.
