Governor Tunai Unveils a Standing Committee to resolve Nkararo-Enoosaen boarder conflict, Archbishop Sapit & several Bishops included

Today GOVERNOR Samuel Ole Tunai , Archbishop Jackson Ole Sapit  & Bishop Dr. Peter S Ole Nakola and COUNTY Commissioner held a committee Peace Meeting on Siria & Uasin Ngishu recurring Clashes.

The general formation of this committee headed by the Anglican Church Kenya’s Archbishop Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit and Bishop Peter Nakola together with 5 other bishops selected, is aimed at sustaining the initiated peace agreement between the Uasi Ngishu and the Siria clans, which have for so long been on conflict.

The committee committed to see the two clans live side-by-side in peace, and enjoy what neighborly communities do – engage in trade and other social interests.

This will be a standing joint committee that will remain in place to help deal with all the issues that have always led to conflicts between the two clans.

Governor Ole Lenku of Kajiado sent his apologies, and missed the meeting owing to some official engagements.
